Metabolic Health

There’s more to metabolism than meets the eye.

Many of the most common, preventable conditions faced by our population are rooted in metabolic health. These include insulin resistance, type II diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, obesity, and more.

Nutrition can make a meaningful impact on metabolic health. If you have a product that targets the underlying processes involved in metabolism, let clinical research be your next step.

Design the right study to confirm your product’s impact while advancing metabolic health research.

Our experience in metabolic health trials is vast, having completed numerous intervention studies across our team to assess endpoints related to diabetes and blood glucose control, weight management, and more.

We have access to a unique study population in Winnipeg and its surrounding area, with a large incidence of heart disease, obesity, and high blood pressure, making SNI Clinical Research ideally suited to metabolism research in Central Canada.

To date, our team has conducted cardiovascular health intervention studies on foods, natural health products (i.e., probiotics, botanicals, vitamins, minerals), and various over-the-counter and prescription drugs.

Applicable product types for metabolism research range from foods, to custom ingredient blends, novel fibres, botanicals, vitamins and minerals, over-the-counter and prescription drugs.

Our hospital-grade clinic on Munroe Avenue is equipped with the instrumentation you need to validate your formulation’s efficacy. These include glucose monitoring, urinalysis, body composition analysis, state-of-the-art phlebotomy bed, and more.
