Bernie Desgagnés founded Source Nutraceutical, Inc. (SNI) in Winnipeg in 2004 after recognizing the challenges companies faced navigating Canada’s evolving natural health product (NHP) regulations. Drawing on his experience in government, supplement distribution, and the NHP industry, he established SNI to give companies practical guidance and a clearer path to compliant commercialization.

As clients increasingly required product-specific evidence to support regulatory submissions and market claims, expanding into clinical research became a natural next step. Bernie established SNI Clinical Research to connect study strategy and execution with the regulatory and commercial objectives behind the research.

Today, SNI Clinical Research operates as part of a multidisciplinary organization offering a more coordinated, turnkey pathway from evidence generation and claims substantiation through regulatory strategy and market readiness.
